The track below is “A Song for You”  that I co-wrote for my mom with Ian Day, an amazing singer/songwriter from Wales.  Feel free to share it with your moms too.

I didn’t get to spend much of my adult life with my Mom.  I feel like we both missed out.  Yet it was clear she wanted me to go out into the world when she encouraged me to take the job at IBM in Austin upon graduation from U of I.

I always felt her support reaching out to me, even when I was living as far away as Australia.  I hope I can be as supportive to my son Ian as she was to me.  I feel her here still.  Thanks Mom.  This is a Song for You.
